    Spal "quiet" fan is not really quieter, but cools well.

    Bought this to replace the straight blade version. According to the Spal website, this version is quieter. It is actually about the same. When my sensor (read ahead) turns the fan on in traffic, the temp goes down quickly. Used the Spal pigtail & 175-195 degree sensor/automatic turn on/shutoff, which works very well. Tried other products, which were junk.

    Better than OEM, tremendous improvement in radiator/condenser airflow

    Much better airflow than comparably-sized OEM fan, same or slightly less amperage pull, works well with factory 35A relay (fan is rated at 30A). Buy a pigtail for your application and don’t modify your factory wiring. Noisier than stock but pulls a tremendous amount of air through the radiator and condenser - with the hood closed and the windows down, it’s not obnoxious and with the A/C on and the windows up and the radio on it’s not really audible. You can feel it when it kicks on at a light so you’ll know, but again, it’s not intrusive and quite bearable, much more preferable in the Florida summer heat. Excellent fan!

    The curved blades are the ONLY way to go

    I replaced my straight blade SPAL fan with this curved one. It's still louder than I would like, but what a huge improvement over the straight blade. The straight blade fans are just way to loud and obnoxious.

    Radiator cooling fan

    The fan works great. Temperature is set for 185 degrees and the spal fan holds it at that temp. This is just what I was hoping the fan and the controller would work. I got a great price and promp shipping.
