the rod was perfect for my 1964 F-100 with the 292 V-8 and a 4 speed floor shifted transmission. the rod that was on the truck was too short and thus there was too much pedal free play and no more rod length for adjustment. this longer rod fit perfectly and now the free play is just right. thanks a lot for making this part available, it was the fix for my application
