About this product

Product Information

Luxor: Pharaoh's Challenge continues MumboJumbo's Egyptian-themed, sphere-smashing series with two game modes, motion-sensing controls, and 88 levels of play. As in previous titles, players slide a winged "shooter" across the bottom of the screen while launching colored spheres to create matches of three or more. The goal in each level is to remove a set number of spheres before a scarab pushes them into a pyramid at the opposite end of the screen. Since the spheres roll through twisting chutes, players must time their shots to hit specific colors or to set up score-boosting chain reactions. Pharaoh's Challenge on Wii includes upgradeable power-ups and 13 "blessings" to improve one's stage-clearing skills.

  • Great Wii Game - Fun for all family members

Both my 5-year old boy and wife really love it and rate it as one of the best Wii games. Especially, the adventure is through the lands of ancient Egypt in the latest installment of the Luxor series. I would say this version gets a lot of creative with the stage designs, including odd Egyptian Tapestry weavings. Also, you can enjoy 88 levels of graphics portraying pyramids, temples and many more of Egypt's marvels. I'm glad that Luxor has finally branched out off the PC and been available in Wii that my boy and I can play without sitting in front of the desktop. All in all, Luxor: Pharaoh's Challenge is a must buy for the Wii.

  • SUPER FUN!

I used to play the free version of this game on my computer. Then my friend told me she had it for the wii, which made me want to check it out. SO FUN!! MUCH BETTER THAN THE COMPUTER VERSION! I can sit in fron of the game forever and play! As you beat each level, you can unlock badges and earn extra perks, choose which perks to use, making the game easier to play, and easier to beat. I got soooo close to beating the game but lost too many times and got kicked back to the beginning. But that's when I discovered I can use some of the perks, for instance grouping the spheres so when they roll out, more colors are grouped together, making it easier to beat each level. Now that its a bit easier, I'm getting further into the game. Now you when the speheres get too close to the pyramid, you have ...

  • Luxor: Pharoah's Challenge Wii game

I loved this on the computer...played for hours and completed the game. I was afraid the game for the Wii would not be as challenging and fun as the computer version...IT IS!!! It is pretty much exactly as I figured...very easy to play with the Wiimote, but still very challenging. Great graphics, music, power ups, etc...A definite must buy for any gamer who loves puzzle-type play. A quick note: I have seen other reviews stating this game shows how shaky your hands are while playing games with the Wiimote. I thought so too, until I realized I was sitting too far from the screen. Nintendo recommends you are 6-10 feet (I think)from the bar. I sit about 6 or 7 feet and it is clear as day!!!

  • The most awesome game - ever

Addictive, Easy to play but hard to master. I love the game. I am not somebody that plays videogames very often, I watch my husband or my kids play. But this game, I rented it first, was the first game in years that I could play. It is point an shoot, no memorizing of invetory, technical attack moves and other time consuming stuff. This is the new Tetris.

  • Pharaoh's Challenge (Wii, 2007)

a simple game but very addictive. my wife's favourite.Nice sharp graphics with the Egyptian theme. It is basically a centipede kind of game but you have to match 3 colours to break up the line zig zagging across the screen.Think quick or you'll loose it. Lot's of interesting bonus blasters as you collect items that fall from the rows as you destroy them.
