    Great High Quality Grass Seed!

    This is the best premium grass seed you'll find. Scott's best mix is garbage in comparison. A great mixture of various seed including a good amount of Kentucky bluegrass will make your lawn beautiful. It has a very good germination rate, and fills in nicely. I bought this twice, and looking to buy in again.

    Jonathan Green Black Beauty Ultra is my Choice.

    I followed the directions to the tee and in 7 days it was sprouting. Awesome. I use to use Hearts grass seed and can't find it in our area so I decided to give this a go. The results are amazing. Jonathan Green Black Beauty Ultra is now my seed of choice.

    Best seed you can buy

    With other brands I always see seeds that did not germinate. Jonathan Greene seeds are far superior to those brands and the roots do grow deep so you will have less problems in areas between sidewalk and curb . Use the black beauty in spring and summer and the fall mix starting in late August. I am so impressed with these seeds that I am going to start using their fertilizer products in spring . Buy the 25 pound bag , it the most economical.

    Slow germination

    Spotty on germination, some up in 10 days and some still not up after 25 days. All applied same day and same way on yard that is uniform. Have watered yard and have had plenty of rain. Update 5/28/2020, rained off and on last 5 days and also watered whenever it didn't look wet enough, finally sprouted well and looking good. I put down some of the same seed I purchased in 9/2019 and it was up fully in 10 days. Wondering now if this was older seed that was sent. Didn't look for a date, but will in the future.
