Entertaining and nostalgic
Excellent movie. I've seen it plenty of times before, but specifically bought the blu ray copy so i could see the behind the scenes costume design (normally I'm not one to care for that sort of thing, but I was really into the movie monsters in this film). Don't want to spoil anything, but will say that this is a must-see and it certainly stands out among other movies of the horror/suspense/supernatural genre. Watch it!

Horrible Horror Movie
The Blu-Ray disc itself was great, with typical video/audio performance that the format was meant to deliver. But the movie itself was a stinker, with horrible writing and acting. The premise was somewhat interesting, but poorly executed and I had to bail out about halfway through. The only way to enjoy this film is to be as stoned as the fifth-wheel character who accompanied the two couples on this ill-fated excursion. Anyone over age 25 with a functioning brain will quickly lose interest in this shallow vehicle.

Genre twisting fun!
I love this movie. All of the classic horror film tropes are on full display but then the movie completely flips them on their head. If you are a fan of Evil Dead/Army of Darkness then you will love Cabin in the Woods.
