    My main negative was that the shipping took almost a month. The seller took it to the post office and it sat there for 3 weeks. Not sure what to say, that is the current state of the USPS. The motor runs great, couple of minor issues, the fuel line was not connected, it would have been nice to know that up front before filling the tank. The retaining threads were stripped out, was able to use bolts on 2 of them but the third was a blind hole so tapped it.

    The motor is great: connect the fuel line, bolts directly to an MTD wood splitter, oil and fuel, and she started right up and runs like a champ. The shipping was slow, arriving 8 days later than the estimated delivery date, and communications from the seller were also slow during this delay.

    Motor is priced well, and works as described. Fired right up. Packing method needs to be modified to better protect the shaft. Arrived with a hole in the box where the shaft was poking through the box making contact with the ground. When the deliver guy set it down on my concrete porch, i heard the clunk of metal on concrete. I cringed assuming the motor got damaged. It works but I suspect I might have issues in the future. Again, not a problem with the motor but with the packing.

    Replacement logsplitter engine

    Arrived very fast. Works excellent. Ran a tap in the mounting holes and used the original bolts. Everything went easier than expected.

    This worked for my log splitter. Be sure to measure the length of the shaft, we had to modify the pump mount but the engine runs flawlessly, good deal
