    Nice basic phone with extras.

    The Samsung Convoy 2 is a good reliable flip phone for basic use plus PTP (Push To Talk). Tough design but not really waterproof. Headphone plug is the older 2.5 mm size but adaptors are readily available for about 2 or 3 dollars. The Convoy 3 has several improvements for about the same cost on EBay. Check the specs for each phone and make you own decision. I have the Convoy 2 and Convoy 3 and like them both.

    Verizon will not activate 3g phones as they are phasing them out at the end of the year so in essence what I have is a brand new paper weight with built in flash light

    LOVE THIS PHONE :)

    This is my second CONVOY. My first lasted for four years and took a beating :) I am active and I tend to DROP it a lot :( I don't need a smartphone. I don't text. I TALK on my cellphone :) I receive calls on my cellphone :) That's IT :) I love this phone :) If you TEXT or need a phone to do online chores, this is NOT the phone for you. Yes, it does those things but it's SMALL.....If you want a phone to send and receive calls ..and the picture quality is pretty good too :)....THIS is the phone for you :) It WILL take a beating :)

    all I want to do with my phone is make calls/receive calls; send text messages/receive text messages. This phone has many more capabilities, which I do not use. Its small size makes it easy to carry in my pocket.

    second convoy 2

    This is my second Convoy 2. I had the first in my breast pocket and it fell into a fish pond. Goodbye. I paid a little extra for sooner delivery and it came two days later, on a Sunday! Quick and safe delivery. The feature I like best id the speaker. I'm losing my hearing and this helps. Otherwise it is much like another type, but I certainly prefer to stick with the same type that gave good service until its demise.
