not a good fit, top of fuel pump is to small so when i fill up, gas poors out the bottom. i later found out the a fuel pump for a 1998 beetle is a bit different than one for a 2006. but anyway the seller refused to send me the right one, i cant send back the wrong one because that would make my car inoperable and its my only car, so i give it 2 stars because i understand that i cant get the right one without returning, but its vary annoying that the listing said fits 98 to 2010 but it doesn't

This Bosch fuel pump 69740 clearly states that it will only fit those vehicle w/Plastic Fuel Tank & 4.8" Outer Diameter Flange. We put this information in the eBay compatibility & in the item description. We go above & beyond to provide all the appropriate information, but it is up to the buyer to read it.

Contacted seller of situation, they were very fair offering to refund my account if I sent them back. I kept them, just installed the four of them, so far so good, so no refund needed.
