Rock and Roll is still alive!
Volbeat's "Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies" in my opinion is their best album to date! This is the type of album that you can play the entire way through and enjoy the full range of their sound. I heard Volbeat a few years ago on the radio with "The Hangman's Body Count" and that opened my ears to their distinct sound. Volbeat has its own sound which ranges from Rock & Roll, Hard Rock, Metal to Rockabilly which are utilized for different songs. This range makes them unique in this day and age when many groups cannot be distinguished from another. "Dead But Rising", "Cape Of Our Hero", the haunting "Room 24" with King Diamond, "Lola Montez", "Lonesome Rider" and "Ecotone" will instantly become favorites.
