These function well, I have no complaints. The price is better than fair as well are the materials used in this build, I mean I wouldn't go into combat with this brand. I'm sure the combat ones cost way more to build anyway and if you can't afford a combat one, don't worry. You only really need one knife when combating. You know, the gun really does most the work anyways. Well I hope this was helpful and if you need any other advice on the product I've bought. An economy item that may do more harm than protect your investment.
The red pad material inside is advertised as "felt", and that is not the case. This material is stiff, coarse, non-pliable, and has the feel of a "scouring pad". My concern is that it may scratch the nickle silver bolsters on my collector knives, doing more harm than protecting. The next consideration is the very limited length and stretch ability of the elastic black bands that are supposed to hold the knives in place; there is limited ability to add knives to a row because these bands are too short, making it almost impossible to add successive knives to the same row-there is simply no room due to the tight, limited stretch of these bands. Even small, standard pocket knife sizes presents a challenge to put in a single row in this knife roll.

Knife Display Roll
I LOVE this display. I have a great collection but I also use my knives. This is the perfect way to store them. Unlike glass cases this is mobile and takes up less space. The soft velvet lining keeps the knives from getting nicked or scratched and the elastic straps hold each knife in place perfectly and allows for knives of nearly any size. Best of all, it looks GREAT!

Good case, disappointing exterior
The folding case is secure in holding many knives. However, the outside part of it is like cheap, plastic leather. It is probably protective, but I think a good woven nylon would be better a choice.
