They don't make a better pole at any price .
I have used these poles for years and I have never had one break while fishing,. Then again I size my line so if I do hook that ten pound Bass the line will snap before the pole does. I also highly recommend one use a product like Loon Hard head ( clear or black ) on the thread that secures the eye at the end of the pole. Two coats is what I recommend and the eye will be there for years to come. It's the only problem I have ever had with these poles.Oh and brass hooks that will straighten out comes in handy too .
