Synopsis
Planning, Implementing, and Evaluating Health Promotion Programs: A Primer provides you with a comprehensive overview of the practical and theoretical skills needed to plan, implement, and evaluate health promotion programs in a variety of settings. The Sixth Edition features updated information throughout, significantly re-worked Chapters 2 (Starting the Planning Process) and 3 (Models for Program Planning in Health Promotion) for a more streamlined presentation, a more robust supplements package, and more information on program management and administration. It has been thoroughly reviewed by both practitioners and professors to reflect the latest trends in the field.   "[Planning, Implementing, and Evaluating Health Promotion Programs: A Primer] provides a very clear and concise explanation on how to develop a Health Promotion Program. The book provides excellent examples and activities for application of Program Planning as well as ties in each step so the final process makes sense. I also like that the book prepares and encourages students to take the CHES exam as well as gives them the tools they need to be successful." -- Aimee Richardson, Adjunct Faculty, American University, Washington, DC, Planning, Implementing, and Evaluating Health Promotion Programs: A Primer provides you with a comprehensive overview of the practical and theoretical skills needed to plan, implement, and evaluate health promotion programs in a variety of settings. As described, questionable packaging, poor communication. Shipping issue that took weeks to resolve but was shipped fast afterwards.

I was very satisfied with this seller! The book came in the exact condition that was originally described, and I was being updated consistently with when the item was shipped as well as when I’d receive it. The seller was on point with communication and I really appreciate that so much because I was able to know when I’d receive the item and I got it at the perfect timing when I needed it!!

The item was exactly as described and pictured. Even with shipping the price was a great value compared to brand new Ariat boots. It was obvious that a lot of care was put into packaging it. Shipping cost were very reasonable.

  • Excellent Textbook

This is an excellent well-rounded, thorough textbook. It is written with practical application in mind (provides examples of real world scenerios throughout, in order to demonstrate concepts). It is organized in a methodical manner. The style of writing is pleasant to read and the authors cover, what seems to be ALL pertinent content, relating to Health Promotion programs planning, in a consice/sufficiently detailed manner. I highly recommend!! Textbook makes you feel prepared for entry level position and CHES credential examination.
