There was only about a 4" gap at the top but it is also curved there in as a wind deflector. There is a soft cover on the top and that covers the gap too. I would have paid extra to have the seal pre installed. That was ridiculous. All predicted holes align together. I did drill and rivet the peg holders into the roll cage for secure down points when the shield is down. Instructions are...crappie.
