Good quality but the diameter is slightly too big for my application
As a stainless steel bow eye, it is a good deal. It is bigger than the one that came with the boat in the 1960s and is slightly too large for the cast iron centerboard. The original bow eye needed to be replaced and still needs to be replaced as the original was fabricated from slightly smaller stock and uses standard nuts that are 1/2 inch rather than 9/16 inch. The opening is almost small enough to jam through the holes without a plastic tubing to slow corrosion.As a stainless steel bow eye, it is a good deal.
