    I saw the "Long Island Lolita" in a different light...

    I purchased the book "If I Knew Then" by Amy Fisher out of pure curiosity. I was in high school when the scandal that involved Amy Fisher and Joey Buttafuoco took place. I had always viewed her as the 'Long Island Lolita" and crazy love-struck teenager that the media made her out to be. Now that I have read this book - I am not so sure that she was everything that the media made her out to be...but I do feel that Amy did a lot of casting blame on everyone else for what took place. The book was definitely a good read - I read the entire book in about 2 days - there was a little jumping around - but I was able to keep everything straight. I enjoyed the insight into the 'other side' of the story...
