- *****- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseThese boards worked better than expected. My power supply was only good for 30wpc at 8 ohm but distortion was zero at all frequencies until clipping. I used original TO3 transistors as my HK had a faulty pre amp board. Only down side is they take about 6 or 7 seconds to settle down when powered up so add a delay if your stereo does not have a protect circuit.

The kit goes together quickly and allows minor modifications to be easily done (rather than buying it assembled). Be aware that you WILL need a speaker protection (delay) device with this because it has a tendency to drive the output to one of the supply rails during power up and shutdown and that is normal for this type of amp. Shipping took about two weeks total, which is pretty good.
