The trim around the lamps would not fit ...
The trim around the lamps would not fit my 2014 Cruze LTZ RS however I did not need the trim as I only needed the lamps. The lamps fit my existing trim. One of the bulbs plugged directly into my factory wiring connector. The other bulb didn't, after inspecting I noticed that the one that did not fit had a plastic sleeve inserted into the socket. I was able to use a small screw driver and pop it out. Once the sleeve was out it fit.The trim around the lamps would not fit my 2014 Cruze LTZ RS however I did not need the trim as I only needed the lamps. The lamps fit my existing trim. I purchased these for my 2017 Ram 1500 The quality is just a touch less then factory these feel just a little flimsy but fit and finish is fine they come with the centering tabs so if you break yours you have a fresh set. Reason for 3 star review is when I installed these I immediately got "parking light out" message when either turn signal or brakes applied turns out the sockets aren't wired correctly and caused this issue I purchased oem sockets from the dealer 12+tax each and it solved the issue they fit right in no problem. Just a heads up to you guys either having this issue or plan on purchasing and get this message on the dash! Overall the parts are great quality and for a great price. Intallation was simple but if you have HID OEM then you will need to purchase a converting harness ($11 on Amazon). Only gave 4 stars because the halogen low beam bulbs provided were not bright at all, had to spend an extra $60 to get new low beam bulbs.

trials of installing new headlights
The newer the vehicle the more difficult the process is. I've installed Halo headlights in cars before, but they were older. Take a look at utube for different ideas on how to attack the job. Just getting the old ones out is not an easy procedure. Take your time and don't force it. The major problem, as I see it, is on the adjustment of the beam of light. I set up my truck on level ground, or concrete, and turned on the high and low beans to try and get a vertical and horizontal line, on a wall, to adjust the new lights to. I was close but not exact. So to adjust these Halo lights, at least most of the adjustments, you have to partially remove the lights from their mounts. I'm to that point now. Mine were pretty good right out of the box.
