I tried everything to hook up to my intex fittings and could not do it completely. Had to buy a 1-1/2" pvc valve, pvc nipple so I could have a shutoff on the inlet side. Was able to use the inlet side (intex) on the return side. Instructions a tad bit confusing but was able to decipher. Haven't completed installation but have faith all will work.
