Flares look great on 1997 2 door Tahoe
I installed these flares a a 1997 2Dr Tahoe. You need to assemble all of the decorative SS bolts and nuts into the pockets and also the rubber trim that goes over the edge of the flare where it meets the body. Both of these jobs take some time. My Tahoe is a base model so it had the very thin aluminum factory wheel well trim. It also has factory running boards. I did have to remove the front and rear caps from running boards to first allow installation of then flares then needed to trim the caps for clearance before re installation. The flares fit the front fenders very well. I did the job myself it would be faster with a helper holding the flare in position while fastening it. I had the Tahoe on a lift and removed the wheels/tires for better access. I primary used the original self ... I installed these flares a a 1997 2Dr Tahoe. I primary used the original self drilling SS trim screws (in new holes) to attach the flares instead of the hardware that came with the flares. The rears did not fit the opening quite as well with some gap between the upper opening and the mounting flange on the flare. However the fit between the visible edge of the flare where it meets the body is great front and back. I think that they really dressed up the old machine, looks much more aggressive also really controls the road spray from my 305/70R 17's.

Flares look good and are good quality also come with a rubber piece to put around the fenders so they don’t scratch your paint.
Fenders came in a huge box and packaged very well but EVERY SINGLE BOLT is like a quarter maybe a half inch long and are all size 5-16/18. The bolts are NOT LONG ENOUGH to install the fender flares and I had to buy a box of 100 new bolts from Ace Hardware because the original bolts were so short they weren’t even close to touching the body panels on my truck.
