    A real fishing convenience

    These tag lines are a real nice add on to a downrigger, whether you have short or extended arms. You left the ball to just above water level, then pull it up and tight to the boat to clean debris, change gear and re-clip.

    Yes but No

    I thought this would be an essential add on to my downrigger. Was more of a nuisance. Just one more thing to wrestle with. Worked Ok but after using my downriggers getting the ball back to the boat was easiest just by tilting the unit up. No problem with seller. May be perfect for another, didn't work well on my boat which has a low gunnel.

    Excellent Retriever

    Tested this design out and now buying another. The shut-off stopper beads pass through the retriever with no hang ups. Works much better than my Cannon retriever. The beads would jam my Cannon retriever coming up and going down.
