      Original Equipment

      Have three Panasonic cordless tools. The original batteries eventually died (10+years). Bought some replacements; work OK but don't have the duration or power the OEM units have. BTW the Panasonic line of power tools are real workhorses at least for the average DIY'er.

      reconditioned Panasonic drill battery 14.4volts

      (Apparently replacement) batteries seem to be strong, so unit seems to be usable; but releasing button (from drill) works with difficulty, so i opened the case to see if release mechanism could be helped, and then noticed that one of the four casing screws was threaded out: disappointing on two counts, especially after the rave promo and 100% satisfaction rating.
