    The Drive Works Great.....I Just Loaded Windows 7 On It Yeaterday.....MAKE SURE YOU WIPE THE DRIVE FIRST WITH A FREE SOFTWARE PROGRAM YOU CAN GET OFF THE INTERNET......IT GETS RID OF OLD LOG FILES.... YOU NEED TO DO THIS ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE CLONING A HARDDRIVE...I USED THE FREE VERSION OF AOMEI Partition Assistant. I Know It Is a... LAPTOP DRIVE ...BUT IT WORKS GREAT IN A DESKTOP COMPUTER ALSO.     Seagate 750 GB, SATA Hard Drive

    I purchased this to upgrade my 2008 MacBook Pro from 250 GB to the larger 750 GB offered by Seagate. The thickness could not exceed 9.5 mm so this worked perfectly. The drive performs better than my Apple original in that it is faster. The total time to swap out drives and reload using Time Machine was 2.5 hours. Everything went perfectly, no glitches of any kind. If you want to upgrade your Mac there are a number of good videos online that show you how and I found them helpful during the process.

    Hard drive review.

    Replaced the hard drive in a Mac mini, it's running quite well and efficiently. It was easy to install as long one has the proper tools, removing the different screws. Under the right circumstance would use again.

    Seagate 2.5" 750GB laptop hard drive.

    This is an old review for a discontinued hard drive. The drive was actually purchased for use as a external usb storage. The low power consumption, good head locking and comparatively high capacity (for the time) made it a good choice. Years later the drive is still working as a backup!
