Good Live Performance
The Corrs are one of my favorites, and this cd shows they are at least as good live as in the studio. Summer Wine with Bono is probably my favorite track, along with a nice version of Radio and Breathless. Just too short, I wish it had more tracks!

Great Vocals, Music Played with Passion, and a bit of the Irish
I was happy to obtain the Cd "The Corrs Live in Dublin." The Corrs were a very competent family band made up of three sisters and their older brother. The offspring of musicians all four received early musical training. Known for platinum albums, relentless touring, and runway looks, The Corrs were very active from the mid nineties till about 2005 with a unique style of pop that was heavily influenced by traditional Irish music with Jim on keyboards and guitar, Sharon on the violin, Carolyn on the drums, and Andrea taking on lead vocals and tin whistle. This album is unique as it features guest appearances by Bono and Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones. It also has an early version of what would become a Corr staple titled "Joy of Life." As Mick Fleetwood once said after playing with them ... I was happy to obtain the Cd "The Corrs Live in Dublin." The Corrs Live In Dublin CD
The Corrs is an Irish Ultra-Pop band composed of one man and his three jaw-droppingly beautiful sisters. They're one of those bands that makes great studio albums, but really knock your socks off when they perform live. Sibling harmonies have always been legendary for their wonderfully complementary timbres, and this band is no exception. The Corrs leave you with the impression that if there's music in Heaven, this is probably where it comes from. Onstage, Andrea's voice takes on a quality that the studio venue just can't bring out. Sharon seems to draw the absolute maximum inspiration for her fiddling from the crowd. Caroline frankly works her butt off - it's hard to name any drummer that gives the drum kit quite the workout that she gives hers during live performances. Cutie-pie Jim ... Bono gives what may be his all-time best performances on WHEN THE STARS GO BLUE and SUMMER WINE. Once you hear this disc, you'll be absolutely compelled to obtain the DVD to get the full effect, and you will not be disappointed. Then get the Live At The Albert Hall DVD. A final word of caution - be sure you're seated when you watch these DVDs. FAIR WARNING!

This is a great performance,I own the dvd also. I much prefer the live sound over the studio sound. It brings my stereo system to life. There is nothing that can compare to Andrea Corr's voice, along with the irish whistle. Its refreshingly new to me, as I love world music.They have done a spectacular job with sound quality, thats a live recording that sound so close to the studio version. I would recomend this cd to anyone I see. I have taken it out and played it for my friends many times. My system is a Marantz Sr8200 receiver, a dv7600 dvd player along with 4 Klipsch KSB 3.1 speakers with the Klipsch 12 inch sub woofer. The evening does not necessarily start with a bang as it features the song "Would You Be Happier", not one of the band's best recordings. But by the time the band breaks into "Breathless" the audience comes alive. The vocal performances are very laid back and acoustic, nothing too rock-n-roll about it except for Ron Wood's guitar solo on "Little Wing". An old favorite titled "Runaway" makes it usual appearance without the familiar backing of the drums. Still with each song the band holds down their ability to perform in any given location, no matter how big or small.
