I haven't had a chance to fully test the drives yet as waiting for my enclosure to arrive. Plugged in one drive and had very low hours as described by the seller.     Quiet surver on a budget

    I cannot believe on how quiet this server is compared to the G5 version, even on power-up where most servers I have heard in the past sound like they are going to take off, the DL380 G7 is quiet, and you can work next to the server when in operation. Low power usage so I makes sense for a home user. I have it running ESXi 6.7, Windows Server 2019, and a couple of Windows 10 VM's and they all run fine, offering snappy operation

    a powerful server with plenty of power

    it's no slouch! it's modern enough, very quiet for a server - and it's size and shape is better than a tower server (can hide this behind furniture) if not deployed in a server rack cabinet (it's cool enough without needing air con). deployed this with a few hyperV servers - flawless. at this price, its a bargain.
