part appears to be well built. My ford tractor exhaust pipe measures 1 11/16". this part states goes up to 1 5/8", the next size up starts at 1 3/4". I chose this unit for I felt I could open the clamp a small amount and make it work, and it did. Hope this helps the next Ford owner.
