    Good and inexpensive HRM

    The HRM module connects via bluetooth without problems both with watch (TomTom Spark 3) as well as with Android apps on phone (Endomondo, Strava). Readings are acccurate (checked against other HRM). The strap keeps well on chest even after it becomes all wet from sweat after intense run (but I haven't checked it on long runs - above 1 hour - yet). It's lightweight and I barely feel it on my chest. The only problem for me so far is that the strap twists when put on the chest.

    Works good

    There were no instructions so it took an afternoon of testing apps untill I found one that works well with the monitor. I know it is supposed to be used with a GPS watch but works on Android and iOS. But once set up it works perfectly and for the price, I was OK with the early frustrations.

    Inexpensive, Utile HRM, works with both Strava & Polar Beat

    This works fine with both Strava and even with Polar's Beat fitness app, which I actually prefer. The strap material is a little light in weight and you have to exert some care when putting it on so that it isn't curled under or twisted. My uses so far have been in cold weather so it is yet to be determined how well it stays in place when sweaty. I'm very pleased so far.

    Great accuracy, feels good for most sports

    I've had a TomTom runner watch for about 10 years now (only had to replace the watch once... the watch usually outlasts the watch strap), but I occasionally want to train by heart rate. I bought one of these before and lost it on one of my travels. Decided to get a new one. The chest strap is very accurate and the TomTom sports gives good feed back about the zones I'm in. The only downside to this HRM is that if you're a bit chesty, the strap does chafe, especially in more humid conditions. I try to combat with vaseline, but there's only so much that helps, so I avoid wearing the strap for running. For everything else, no chafing and it's great.
