One mid range speaker was blown. right out of the box brand new and it was junk. I swapped it with the good one and confirmed, it was a bad speak. Cerwin Vega has fallen from the throne of high end audio. 15yrs ago I had a complete Cerwin Vega audio system that won competitions. Ground pounding system back then. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a single replacement since this was a kit. I went to a local shop and simply purchased a Kicker component kit. These vegas were a waste of my money. Great speakers!
These are some really nice speakers! The sounds quality is amazing. I was actually pretty surprised by how clear they sounded. I have two 6 1/2” JL Audio coaxial speakers in my car too and I think these sound way better. And they’re a third the price of JL’s. I’m very happy with them and definitely recommend them to anybody looking to upgrade their system.
