I purchased these as a gift. The earrings themselves are beautiful synthetic sapphires, arrived quickly and well packaged. Once gifted, it became apparent that the lever back has a defect and did not close properly. Chose not to open case or return, as we were able to bend the top of the lever back to make it close. However, the defect itself does not appear fixable.
