Side pull caliper brake set
This caliper brake set a great bargain! No, it is not real high quality, it is not anywhere near the best made. But if you need just a little more stoping power on your front whel to supplement your coaster brake, it is ideal. Or if you just need to replace a brake and you are a moderate bike rider this will handle it! There was also a extra parts included in order to fit it on a larger front headset. Better than no brake on the front.
I have gotten use to more modern bicycle brakes. The arms and brake pads on this were not true to the wheel. One pad sat flat on the rim while the other touched only on one end of the brake pad. The brake pads were very soft and wore out within a few days and had to be replaced so order those ahead of time. The stopping power added was minimal but better than having nothing on the front of a coaster brake bike. I am not bad mouthing the seller. It was delivered promptly and as advertised. I bought this for my front wheel becaude.o motorize my beach cruiser i had to have a secondary brake due to the fact i know i cant soley relies on the coaster alone.but sadly i wanted a left hand side handle but got no option so end up putting lever in same side as my trottle..better.beside that everything else seem ok

Affordable and easy to install
I purchased a used 20 in bmx bike last summer for my son's friends to ride when they came over. It took quite a beating and the rear brake was shot. My husband wanted to pitch it because it was unsafe to ride and didn't think it was fixable. I did so I set out to find the parts for a reasonable price. This was the most affordable brake kit that I found and came with all of the parts. I've never worked on a bike in my life and was really happy with how easy it was to install.
