    Modern take on Flash Gordon

    DVD for TV series casts Flash named for high school track accomplishments. Very good screen play with high grade video and settings. The story uses a dimensional portal as the connection between modern USA, and Mongo. Flash's father, a scientist, is missing after creating the portal. Plot is Mongo has no water, and is stealing Earth's water through the portal.

    Flash Gordon?

    This is a good Sci-fi romp in it's own right but Flash Gordon it aint. If you love the original from 1939, you probably hate this or watch it like any other sci-fi series as I do. Nice story, good special effects. But no rockets or rayguns and no cliffhangers witch all made the original fun. But it is a good Sci-fi romp non the less. Only Flash Gordon to the name not the story....!
