      Replacement controller....Excellent

      This was a replacement for an existing unit already fitted to my Blackbird. Th eold one had been on for 12 years and worked perfectly up until his untimely demise, signalled by the 100% led on constantly and no heat. This unit was about £28 and about £15 to £20 cheaper than buying a whole new kit. It also avoided having to remove the existing grips. I took a chance that it was the controller at fault...It was. Old unit took about 30 min to remove, The new one is so much simpler, took about 10 min to completely finish including cable tying. New unit is so good, from 30% to 100% and with a battery saver. the 100% is a bit too hot. Overall a fantastic purchase, well worth it for the price and simplicity.

      Shame you can't get a better quality third party part.

      The product is a genuine Oxford part which I'm afraid is not a good thing. I have used their heated grips for years on many different motorcycles and the weakest link by a long way is the controller . I have found after a few months of use the indicator lights start to fail one by one ,so enough of them fail you have no idea what setting you have them on and then the grips don't seem to be as warm they were once you have figured out what setting your on.

      New controller for 10 year old hot grips

      The old controller stopped working, this was an easy fix without having to completely start again with a new set. Just had to unclip the old wires and clip this unit in. Took about 10 mins and this controller is a much better design than the old one.

      EXCELLENT HOT GRIPS CONTROL

      I purchased the HotGrips V8 to replace a more basic 2 heat setting control which was either too hot or not warm enough. The new control has much better graduation in its 5 settings. My only comment is that the wiring loom is a bit too long (longer than the one it replaced) and loosing the wire on the bike is difficult

      Oxford Grips Module. Great replacement / repair / upgrade for an existing 8 year old kit!

      Great replacement module for my original heated grip kit fitted 8 years ago. Two black boxes and wiring, simplified with a single black box. Battery protection functionality improved! Excellent work Oxford grips. Glad I could simply replace failed components only.
