Based on what I have read and seen, this movie was produced shortly after the famous "Wizzard of Oz" movie, which featured the Midgets in this classic movie- But this movie (Terror of Tiny Town) features those who supported the "Oz" movie, , and the scene is portrayed in a Western area, right down to the "Good Guy in the White Hat and his Leading Lady". Some thought this movie was wierd, even crazy- but if your were a follower of the Midgets, then you will definitely enjoy this movie- to see the "Bad Guy with his Possie of scoundrels riding the plain on those "Little Shetland Ponies" , coupled with the "Good Guy on the Little White Pony " was indeed a classic. One must appreciate the laurels of this movie to enjoy. Recommend it highly
Another classic cult movie i don't think alot have seen and need to. This is a westeren of a different kind that will make you laugh, smile and just enjoy. Great for the whole family. And the characters are truly engaging and entertaining. A MUST TO SEE AND ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION.

I bought this dvd because I am a huge Wizard of Oz fan. Many of the actors in this film also played Munchkins in Oz. But, that is not why I love it though. The whole cast is made up of little people and they show that they can produce a feature length western just as well as an average size cast. It was enjoyable on all accounts. Nostalgia aside, Terror of Tiny Town was just as good if not better than any other B western movie of its era. I only wish that they would have continued to make more films featuring these talented little stars!
Kind of like a train wreck. You could not look away it was so bad. Good for a cult film. If it had been a little more in focus it may have been better.

A friend recently told of watching this movie with her father when she was young. It seemed to mean a lot to her, so I was glad to find it online & give to her on father's day. (Her dad has passed away.) She never gave it justice, though. I was glued to the screen, and promptly fell in love. Made in the 1930s, this film has great characters! The villain is a villain and the hero is a hero. It's nothing you haven't seen before, but you've never seen it quite like this. There are several takes that would be re-shot if filmed today, but so glad they weren't. Well, a lot of this movie would change if filmed today. And it seemed clear that some of those little people were actual children.. If you are looking for an obscure classic to replace your current favorite-- your search just ended. The Terror of Tiny Town is a priceless gem of a movie.Read full review
