    A Good Video Streaming Device But The Unit Crashes Occasionally For No Apparent Reason

    The Tivo 4k is fairly easy to use and set up, however neither the manual that came with it or the manual I downloaded online mentions where or how to navigate to the main home page where the Android settings are located. My device has crashed in the middle of watching programs several times for no apparent reason. Also don't get in a hurry clicking on buttons. The unit has a tendency to lag and too many button clicks temporarily locks the device up. Having said all of this the picture quality is great. The sound is ok, but on my Home Theater receiver I am unable to use the surround sound mode. It will default to 5 channel stereo instead. The units ability to aggregate several sources you subscribe to to find movies and TV shows is a nice feature and part of the reason for my purchase of ...

    So good to be back with TiVo!

    I've been through 6 or more Roku's the past several years. Every single one has become slow and problematic even with firmware updates. I'm confident in believing this is to facilitate a new device purchase, similar to cell phones. I know tech is a neverending situation which is good. But to have to purchase something so frequently is beyond frustrating. This is my second TiVo purchase as far as the new 4k devices. They have worked flawlessly and I intend to replace the remaining two Roku's with two more of these. Picture, sound and speed have all improved dramatically and they're easy to setup and use.

    Better than the Amazon Firestick!!

    Great alternative to the 4K fire stick. I love the user interface and how easy it is to operate. The only thing I’d recommend is getting a 2amp charger (same voltage as your phone charger). This will help avoid the TiVo 4K stream for randomly rebooting.

    Good and well worth the investment.

    Wife has been I'll, so am late, in doing this. The picture is superior to Roku, setup is easy but not intuitive. Could be much simpler but not a stop point.
