I expected it to just be strapped to a pallet but it was wrapped in cardboard, inside a large heavy cardboard carton, padded with extra cardboard boxes. Shipping company helped unpack and place it in my vehicle so cudos to XPO logistics also. Door was used, as known, but actually in better condition than I expected.
