Great product that could use a little improvement.
Linking the phone to my existing system was extremely easy. Seller sent detailed instructions. I like the fact that this Panasonic Cordless Handset uses regular AAA batteries and not those special battery packs that are more expensive. Although the handset is comfortable, it would be nicer if if there was a way to be able to rest it between your head and shoulder so you could multi-task or take notes/write things down without having to put the phone down in order to write or type. Instead, in order to do anything other than talk on the phone you need to put it down first. The speaker function works well, but you still need an area to put the phone down. Navigating the functions of the phone is a little difficult and finding a specific function or menu items could be improved. I love the feature that speaks who is calling and the phone number. Unwanted calls are easy to block, but there is a limited amount of numbers you can "block"

I compare this phone system with same panasonic previous generation - 5 years old. This version is chipper and panasonic save every penny where it's possible. No more clip for every headset, no more way to change power adapter for every cradle, build quality of buttons on headsets are low. Same chip experiences about software. I have google contacts in my cell. Why I can't transfer all at once to panasonic phone? I have to do it one by one. We are on 2021 year, one by one, really

Good range around the home and easy to set up. Nice large illuminated keypad and easy to replace rechargeable Ni-Mh AAA batteries. THe sound quality leaves one wanting for more tone and volume but otherwise it's adequate. Pair this with the Panasonic KX-TGA405B Range Extender for DECT 6.0 Plus Cordless Phone Systems and you will be amazed at how far you can use your extension phones.I walked about 300 ft from the house and still could use the extension!
