    Perfect for a Christmas layout

    This, of course, is a toy train made for a Christmas layout, not for a scale model train layout. But it operates well, has an easy to use track setup, a good easy to use transformer and speed control and is a hoot to operate. It is not a toy to be used by young children, but it will delight them. We will make a nice layout for Christmas with our Hawthorn Village Christmas houses and church.

    I think there are much better choices of higher quality made train sets than this model.

    Once I finally received the train set I was disappointed. Made of plastic, very light weight difficult to set on tracks. I would not buy this product again, I thought it was way overpriced and a complete waste of money. On the positive side, the train was detailed well and once I was able to to mount it on its tracks it ran well. The tracks were easy to lay out and fit together.
