First Impressions after first use
Toro Blower Although a little on the heavy side (almost 9 pounds assembled) the unit operates well. Changing speed to increase the blown air velocity is easy and the control dial is well marked. Use of the 2 nozzles supplied helps significantly in getting the leaf pile in motion. it works well in clearing leaves from grassy areas. On concrete or other hard surfaces volume flow at half speed setting is adequate. Haven't used the suction components at this time but assembly of the components was simple. The bag attachment in the suction might become an issue with use as there is no method of adjusting the tightness of the bag around the nozzle connection. Fastening the cable in the holder under the handle of the blower motor assembly is a little difficult especially if using heavy duty extension cables. Provision of a strap which to be added to the front and back part of the blower handle to allow carrying on the shoulder would be an improvement - maybe next model update. Noise level tolerable but definitely on the higher end when the dull speed is used. Didn't need ear protection at this stage. Installation of the blower tube uses two small clips (built into the blower body) to finally lock the tube in place and the clips are not very substantial relative to the rest of the construction of the body. As to how long these clips last remains to be seen since if they should fail there is no other method of then attaching the blower tube.to the motor assembly. These impressions after using for three hours in which I cleared approx. 1/3-acre grassy area completely carpeted with last autumn's leaves. Better performance than my previous Toro which lasted more than 10 years so we'll see how long this remains functional. 4-star rating given because of bag connection concern and weight.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

An excellent tool
I am 6 ft 3 inches tall and was particularly delighted to find that the vacuum tube was longer than any other brand which I checked. I no longer have to stoop over while cleaning up lawn clippings or leaves. The quick-change from blower to vacuum is another good feature.
