MTH TIU
Very well manufactured and durable. It has separate fuses for the 4 Inputs and it is easy to remove the back with four screws and appears to be easy to replace the fuses, although I have not had to do that. I wish there was a good source of Instructions for all of the functions especially the Microphone Input and the Audio Input. Also, the pictures of the new versions of the TIU do not always show the USB Input. The USB Input is necessary for connecting the new WiFi Unit. Finally, the manner of "updating" the software and the miserable Instructions for doing so, are HIDEOUS!!! You can only update if you have a PC (NOT Mac compatible!), and even then it is not at all an easy update. After more that an hour of frustrating attempts to update, my son an I (he is very computer savvy), finally got lucky! The MTH website that is referred to as a source of information is HORRID!!! Other than all of the above, I am now pretty happy with the TIU although it often loses contact with my WiFi Unit and DCS App that I use via my iPhone for remote control (Yes, I clean the tracks and the wheels often with Denatured Alcohol and I hooked up an 18 volt bulb to my Terminal Block to "clean up the signal" as recommended, but still I lose the signal often. The iPhone/iPad App I believe needs updating.)
