    Third tome is a charm.

    It actually works. I have purchased two other transformers on eBay that either didn't work at all or or were not sufficiently powerful to work effectively. The $20 shipping fee was a bit pricey, but I am happy that I have a working replacement for my old, no longer working transformer.

    Excellent power pack!

    My son and I are setting up our first Ho set, and as we’re trying to work on a budget, I was unsure if upgrading a power pack was a necessary expense. I’m so glad we did. This pack is excellent. The ability to gradually control speed - starts and stops - is very nice. And it’s definitely a situation where you might not know how much you’d appreciate it until you have it.
