    Happily accurate set

    Brand new unsealed timber. Exactly represented by the picture. The Japanese Cypress (Hinoki) balls are very aromatic and the set is good quality overall. The pail measures 22cm Diameter, with 20cm internal space, by 10cm tall. A lovely set although not foot soak size for me :)

    Sturdy and well crafted, for an bit of onsen experience at home.

    The onsen spa set was as advertised and I am very happy with it. After my trip to Japan, I wanted to recreate the onsen feel at my home. If you have not experienced it, it is a great ritual. The seller (Ken) was very good about reaching out and advising me to confirm the height of the stool was OK before he shipped (some Westerners may find it too close to the ground). While low, it was like the ones I became accustomed to in Japan. The stool and bowl are very sturdy and with care, they should last a very long time. The wood is very fragrant and gives the bath area a great scent.

    This is not a Japanese product. it is made in China. Says on the box and the wrapping for each product. Does not really smell of anything but regular wood.
