    Great Tool For A DIY Picture Framer

    I have some pictures that needed framing, so I bought this tool and foam core, which I cut to size. The tool is very easy to use, even for someone like me with arthritic hands. In no time at all I had the insert points in the frame and they were ready to hang on the wall. I plan to put this to good use.

    Works very well, easy to control the pressure...setting 16p nails is a breeze.

    This is a well made tool...easy to load any of the four sizes of fasteners, but not the quickest tool to reload between applications. Being a "single shot" is reasonable for a tool of this price, so keep that in mind. My only reservation about this tool is that it will not accept the 'standard' glazing points...the ones that are normally driven with a putty knife. The four options are all for other types of points.

    Logan Graphic F400-1 FITTING TOOL

    This seems to be a well constructed tool. I am rating it four stars because after using it a couple of times on soft wood, I'm not sure how well it will perform on hard wood. It may be that it will take me several sessions of driving points into frames before I get the "right touch" for this tool. As it stands right now I'm skeptical that it will perform to me expectations on harder material, such as hard wood or plastic.
