    Dissapointing puzzle

    More than half of its pieces are so similiar (in shape) that frustratingly often, puzzle pieces fit together...but the coloration is obviously (or very subtly) wrong...so they weren't really intended to fit together. Also the colors are so similar (generally darkish) that in some cases you simply can't tell the difference as to whether they fit together or not...so that you're left with lots of trail and error, too much. The image is very dark to start with so to not have pieces that are distinct from one another takes away a lot of the fun... because it just becomes too tedious. We viewed the actual painting in Vienna last year and took many detailed photos of it. The actual painting is actually "brighter" than the puzzle representation. Perhaps the painting was "cleaned" ...
