I have 8 cats and there are a few that do not get along. Long and explanatory.
I dislike giving the product a bad review because it may work for some cats. I've used it for 11 days and it is making no difference to the situation. The product is heating and working properly, but it has no effect on the aggression level of my poor stressed baby. She hates the new addition. I've had cats all my life and have never seen cats not bond eventually. I took this cat as a rescue, she is 2 years old, and we discovered she was spayed when we took her to the vet for checkup and spaying. My spayed female and neutered male cat are miserable. Didn't work for my cat
This product may be good for some animals. I really can't evaluate this product as every animal is different. One of my cats is restless most nights. I'm his person so he paces and scratches things until he gets my attention. I thought this may help with his restless night behavior , but it made no difference in his behavior. I have 3 cats 2 girls and 1 boy. Recently we got another female cat and after fixing her problems happened and the boy cat started to get aggressive. I tried this before, a few years ago, and I didn't see much if any difference in fighting behaviors. An absolute necessity if your introducing adult cats.
I have had 3 cats since kittenhood. I recently needed to add a friendly stray due to bad weather. They had all already met and seemed to get along nicely thru the screen door. But when we actually brought him in the house, 2 of them swore they had never seen him before. We plugged the Feliway diffusers in deferent rooms of the house as soon as we realized we got them. It does take maybe a week or two, and we kept Mustard in a spare room when we weren't supervising. Things calmed down a lot and so, after a month, we discontinued use. Some of the spitting and hissing came back. So we bought the replacement packs and now we swear buy them. Also, when you can, buy Feliway on line. It is VERY expensive in the stores, almost twice the price. It won't work on the very first day, so stay patient. But I have definitely noticed a difference. This is amazing...We just added 3 semi-feral cats in with 3 cats who have been here for 4 years. I kept them separated by a screen door for about a week....with a diffuser in each room. Yesterday I opened the door and stood by and watched...just in case. Everyone was so calm....There were a couple half-hearted hisses but today everyone is playing together.
