    Broke too easily

    The first time I forgot to put the presser foot down, the needles bent the stitch finger on the faceplate. I was able to find a new one but I might want to keep a spare around. It seemed too easy to do. Otherwise, it's an awesome machine and love the stich quality

    Great little serger.

    It is light, really quiet and super smooth. Easy to thread. Highly portable. Cuts easily through several layers of heavy linen. Tension is really simple to adjust.

    Juki serger

    This is absolutely the best serger I have ever owned. It makes a great stitch with no adjustment. It was hard at first to learn to thread but stuck with it and it continues to work beautifully. I find that it will be a work horse for all types of fabrics. I use this in preference to my more expensive computerized machine.

    Awesome Self-threading

    After researching home sergers for a month online, I chose this Juko. I almost purchased the Brother 1043D, but I saw one woman's review about the similarities with this machine. In addition to that, this machine had the feature of the self-threader. This sold me and I haven't regretted it yet. Yes, my eyesight isn't what it used to be and I struggle to get the machine threaded, but one can always add light and I use a magnifying glass. I love what sergers and this one is the one.
