    The price of the 8 spark plugs was very ...

    The price of the 8 spark plugs was very good. The shipping fast and packaging very good. I gave it 3 stars because Motorcraft spark plugs are supposed to have the gap set from the factory and each different part numbered plug has a different gap setting for each particular engine. This spark plug number, SP548 was supposed to be pregapped at 49 to 53 thousands but all were set to 35 thousands. The gap is not supposed to be readjusted because of the fact that the electrodes on Platinum plugs are very delicate and will get damaged by the gapping tool. Being a mechanic for over 55 years, I was able to gap the plugs to theyre proper setting without damaging the electrode but that was the chance I took. I don t know why they are not properly gapped. Thats why I gave it only 2 stars.
