Pachmayr Diamond Pro Perfection
I was a bit anxious about these grips before they arrived, as I was not sure if they would fit my hand. I have a medium sized hand with short fingers. Once they arrived, the grips easily went onto my S&W mod 66 roundbutt. They looked a little big for the gun, and slightly fat. However they fit my hand perfectly! I get the perfect grip with them. My fingers are in the perfect position to reach the trigger, hammer, and cylinder release. Poorly executed, ill conceived
Mounting of this grip assembly requires that the 1/8" roll pin be removed from the the grip frame of the revolver. The grip screw is supposed to mount in the hole previously occupied by the roll pin. In my situation, when I attempted to mount the grips on my S&W K frame round butt Model 66 (on which this grip was supposed to fit) the screw hole in the grip was off center by more than half the diameter of the hole. The only way this grip would have mounted, is if I was willing to drill the frame (not an option), or ream out the hole in the grip assembly, which probably would have ruined the grip. Perhaps this is an isolated instance, but I doubt it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great grip for model 696
Fit well. These feel great. Really fill my hand well. These are not a compact grip, fully covering the backstrap, but still conceal well. best new designed grip nothing comes close
big fan of 357 magnums was first firearm that was given for patrol besides being the best grip and feel brings recoil way down no matter what grain round your shooting its about time someone designed just a awesome grip noyhing else out there to date even comes close. ignore the review left by the guy who couldn't get it on correctly then had to cut it off that's what happens when you put the wrong frame grip on your revolver or not aware of the different frame grips out there and obviously not experienced anyone that would rate this lower than a 5 either has small hands or should not be shooting a revolver. definatly must buy in between grips with slots for fingers or grips without, this is inbetween the two and wont be disappointed...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great fit and easy install
I needed a slightly larger grip than the S&W factory original. This one is more robust and is more comfortable. Installation was easy, although I did have to remove drift pin. Nice Fit
Once installed, this grip provides a comfortable option for those with larger hands using round butt revolvers. Installation requires removal of the roll pin in the lower grip frame so that the retention screw may pass through, then a bit of stretching to slide the rubber grip onto the frame. At this point, IF the hole in the grip aligns with the hole in the grip frame and everything is snug, you are in business.
