Tiny and refined
Beautiful pen, very good quality materials, a little piece of jewelry of its kind. The sparkles in the blue body are subtle, nothing flashy. The end-cap (the white "moon") is pearlescent white. The gold accents go very well with the golden (steel) nib. Overall the pen is tiny, though you can find that out in the reviews which offer measurements. It feels very good in the hand, if you do not have very big hands. The nib is really feedbacky, as advertised/known, but I personally like that very much - I admit it is not maybe for everybody. But again, you know what you're in for buying a Sailor, from this point of view. In my opinion, if you do not want to spend more money on a gold-nib Sailor, the Shikiori is a very good option for a refined and very well-done pen.
