    Sleeper watch with only essential features for everyday use.

    Pros : - comfortable and high quality resin strap and bezel. - stainless steel case. - screw back. - solar powered battery. - standard time radio wave reception (multiband 6). - not too small nor too big. Cons : - buttons are not great; stiff and hard to keep pressed. - price.

    "Best G-SHOCK Square"

    The additional amount of weight the stainless steel case and screw-in case back, help to give the watch a little heft. Paired with the soft pliable rubber watchband, I find it a joy to wear. Also, I really like the solar power and multi band features. The 200 meter water resistance, with all the other features, really helps to make the GW-5000U-1JF G-SHOCK a true GADA watch. Finally, being made in Japan helped in my decision to purchase this model over the GW-5610U-1JF; despite the fact that they both have the same 3495 module and that the GW-5610U-1JF is half the cost of the GW-5000U-1JF.
