    Light weight easy to move around

    I like this pitching machine a lot and for the price you really can't beat it, especially when it came with a dozen leather baseballs. I went and purchased a dozen dimpled heater balls and I'm hoping they will be a little more consistent since they don't have threads. The baseballs are cool but they move around a lot coming out of the machine and I'm pretty certain that's due to how the threads hit the wheel.

    You get what you pay for.

    I was aware the product was designed to throw ‘dimple balls’ but most reviews (and/or ads) indicated it could throw real, leather baseballs with only slightly less accuracy. Slightly? Not so much. Pitches were incredibly inconsistent and the amount of time it takes to feed balls into the chute is too long. The machine takes every second it can get to accelerate to the proper speed to project the next pitch (you can hear the motor struggle to reach the appropriate velocity before the next pitch). Additionally, it’s not as sturdy/rugged as I hoped. Look, I wanted an alternative to a $1,000 pitching machine so I knew I wasn’t getting industrial strength. But, it’s about what you’d expect for a product under $300. It’s underwhelming. It’s also tedious to assemble/disassemble. I’m not ...

    A useful addition to skill development

    The size and weight makes this machine very convenient and portable. Unfortunately I didn’t get the feeder which would enhance the the efficiency of the unit even further. I have tried to purchase one without success

    Pleasantly surprised.

    I got the newer version of this machine and I must say I'm impressed with its performance. I use it to practice with the two teams I coach and I have had no issues at all. It is extremely light and easy to transport, very simple to set up. Once it's set up the machine is very acurate. I have used it with dimpled balls and leather baseballs and it performs well with both. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a machine to work with kids and for the price you will not find anything else even close to this. Great buy.

    Base Hit Pitching Machine

    Base Hit Pitching Machine. I guess you get what you pay for, I have 2 7 year old grandchildren and it helps save my arm from throwing so many balls. It really isn't that accurate but you can get them to track the ball on a bad pitch, which is a positive. If it were more accurate it would be a 5 star in my opinion.
