    Ok if you have size 16 snaps and plenty of patience

    The pliers are ok but I don't like the plastic attachments. Years ago I had pliers that were super good. Loaned them out and they were not returned. I have not been able to find anything like them. These work pretty good but they are for size 16 snaps and all mine are size 18. The pliers I had before were all metal and worked on all sizes. I make all my husbands western shirts so bought snaps in bulk. Am disappointed with these but have also bought other pliers that don't work as well as these. These cost about a dollar less than at Walmart store.

    Great tool

    I have been wearing western shirts for years. When the snaps fail then you usually discard the shirt. With this tool, I can now put my own snaps on the shirt and get lots more use out of it. It works perfect, and I am no seamstress by any means.

    Lightweight snap fastener

    This fastener will work for awhile, but the plastic parts make me a bit nervous. Seperate parts are a bit of a challenge to remove with the removal tool. It's easier just to pull them out by hand. So far, so good!

    Don't waist your time and money

    Very cumbersome. Requires you to stretch a rubber band around snap part to hold them onto pliers. When you squeeze them to attach the snap to the fabric they don't line up. The piece that holds snap part wiggles and can't br adjusted. I replaced this with the Snapsetter by Snapsource which works great.
